Pom pom making

One of the essential toys needed for a developmental assessment would be a red pom pom. It is for a visual assessment for infants-to check whether a baby can fix and follow. It is not something that you can buy from any toy stores and I have always been meaning to make one myself for months.

So yesterday, I decided to make it.

Thank you, youtube for the tutorial!

Step 1. Make 2 doughnuts from a cardboard.

Step 2. Wind the yarn around it many many times.

Step 3. Cut through the loops of yarn.

Step 4. Tie around it to secure.

Step 5. Done!

Today I was rummaging through my mum's stuff in her room and I found this....

..
Of course! Such perfect timing..
